Bonito is located in central-west of Brazil. It’s known for its outstanding landscapes, rich wildlife and crystal water. The city also has landmarks and people from all around the world come to visit it.

What to see

Flotation

There are a lot of things to see in Bonito. However, most people usually go to the flotation through the Sucuri River with crystal clear water where you can swim with all the fishes.

Where to eat

Tourists prefer to eat in local restaurants or in the hotel WHERE they are staying. The local food is exquisitely good and most of the time it is carefully made, just like homemade food, using typical ingredients, so it's always good to try it.

What to take

It depends on which season of the year you are going. If you are going during the winter, it's a great idea to bring some sweaters and coats with you because the temperature is somehow low during the night. If you are going during the summer we recommend you to take some light clothes and swimwear.

Wildlife you might see

It’s impossible to go to Bonito and not see any native animal. Some of the most common are the little monkeys, rare species of birds and lots of fish like Piraputanga and Pacu. And the good part of it is that you can take gorgeous pictures of them.

Top Tips

 In Bonito there are a lot of bugs and flies, so it’s indispensable to bring with you some repellent and pairs of high socks to wear over the pants, but you will only need this while you are walking through the forest.
